Noble Heart
"Noble Heart" is the working title of my first novel which tells the story of Llywelyn Bren. Bren was a Welsh lord in the late 13th early 14th century.
This fictional account of his life draws on historical evidence to create a fast paced novel with love, intrigue and battles in equal measure.
How it begins
The night crept over Cymru with icy fingers. There was no light from moon or stars, as the March wind whistled through the wooden shutters, its frosty tendrils swirling across the darkened room The vast wooden bed stood, like a monolith, in the centre of the room. It’s tapestries and hangings shielding the occupants from the bitter night air.
